Decentralisation means the powers given to the local government instead of the central and state government .
Like - the powers to gram panchayat.

♥️there is decentralization in India also it was updated in 1991 from that very
♥️year elections of local government become compulsory
one third of seats are reserved for women and some seats are also reserved for SC ST and OBC
♦️ local government help in many ways like the people living in that area have better knowledge of their resource and they could make better use of the resource
♦️local government help in decreasing number of cases which reduces the burden of state government specially
but there are some problems also
❤ Gram Sabha meetings are not held regularly
❤adequate amount of hours have not transferred two local government by State Government
❤more resources are not provided to local government.
