what do you mean by dispersal of seeds how to plant benefit from seed dispersal describe the various ways by which seeds and fruits are dispersed it is a( 10 hour question)

dispersal of seeds means scatering of seeds .it is very important bcz if all seeds fall at a same place close to the parent plant the seedling will not get enough nutrients from the soil to grow . soon thet will start completing for sunlight, space and water.....

benefits......
1. it prevent overcrowing of a plant in a small area
2. it prevents completion btw the seedling of the same plant.
3. it helps plant to grow in the new place for wider distribution........

When the seeds of the plants dispersed into various places through water, air and animals it is called seed dispersal . Plants benefit by seed dispersal because it prevents the competition between the plant and its own seedlings for sunlight, water and Minerals and it also enables the plants to invade in new habitats for wider distribution . Seeds and fruits of plants can be dispersed away by wind, water and animals . Wind seeds suggest dose of drumstick and Maple and light series of Harry or grasses can be blown off by the wind too far places . The seeds who developed floating ability in the form of spongy and fibrous Court judges of the coconut are dispersed by the water . Some seeds are dispersed by animals as they have hooks which get attached to the body of animals like those of xanthium and urena .
