Displacement reaction is a chemical reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound. Both metals and non-metals take part in displacement reactions. Example : Reaction of iron nails with copper sulphate solution.

This is your answer

Displacement Reaction is a chemical reaction in which the more electropositive element displaces the less electropositive element from it's Aquous salt solution ..

For example-

Explanation:

In this example Zn is more electropositive element than Cu so it displaces it from it's aquous salt solution and form Zinc Sulphate.
