Doberiner law of triad states that the average of sum of atomiv masses of two extreme ends of a triad is approximately equal to the mass of the mean element.
This law proved true for some elements but not for all.
Newland law of octaves followed the principle of music notes like sa re ga ma pa.... where the properties of the first and eighth element were same.
This law also proved true for some elements but failed for isotopes.
The main fatal flaw in both of them was that they were based on Atomic masses instead of Atomic number.

hlo mate here is ur answer .
DOBERINER TRAID :
* Dobereiner states that when elements with similar properties are taken three at a time and arranged in the ascending order of their atomic weights the atomic weight of the middle element is the average of the atomic weights of the first and third element .This statement is called the Dobereinerś law of traids .
EXAMPLE. :-
Lithium ( Li) Sodium ( Na) Potassium( K).
7.0 23.0. 39.0
7.0 +39.0
________
2 = 23.0
LIMITATIONS OF DOBEREINERS TRAID :
☆ All the know elements at that time could not be arranged in the form of traids.
☆ .The law failed for low mass or for very high mass elements .
in case of F, CL ,Br , the atomic weight of Cl is not an arithmetic mean of atomic weights of F and Br .
☆ As the techniques improved for measuring atomic masses accurately the law was unable to remain strictly valid .
NEWLANDŚ LAW OF OCTAVES :
The law of octaves stated that when the elements are arranged in the ascending order of their atomic weight they fall into a pattern in which their properties repeat at regular intervals . Every eighth element starting from a given element resesmbles in its properties to that of starting element . Elemenr with similar properties are to be present along a horizontal row .
LIMITATIONS OF NEWLANDŚ OCTAVE :
☆ two elements fitted into the same slot and certain elements ,totally dissimilar in their properties , were fitted in the same group.
☆ This law also not valid for the elements that had atomic masses higher than Ca and it did not leave any room for new elements .
examples of new lands octave are in the above pic .
hope this will help u :-)
