In some animals such as fish blood flows through heart only once but in human beings as our body is complex blood flows through heart twice deoxygenated blood into heart and then into lungs for oxygenation and then oxygenated blood to heart to supply to various parts of the body.
Double circulation is there to meet our high temperature needs
