An ecosystem is a natural unit consisting of all plants, animals and microorganisms (biotic factors) in an area functioning together with all of the physical (abiotic) factors of the environment.

For example, a forest is a natural ecosystem, while an aquarium or a field is an artificial ecosystem

Ecosystem is the term which is a community of different varieties of living organisms in conjunction with non living organisms of their environment living together in their own habitats this is known as Ecosystem.
