electrolyte is a substance which help in electrolysis in which a suitable amount of electrolyte taken (depend on metal whom electrolysis is done) generally in metal current passes through flow of electron but in electrolyte it passes through movable ion .

it is used generally in

electroplating

galvanigation

etc.
