AN "ENDEMIC SPECIES" IS ONE i.e ONLY FOUND IN ONE REGION & NO WHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD. SINCE THESE SPECIES ARE NOT WIDESPREAD & MAY BE CONFINED TO ONLY ONE OR TWO PROTECTED AREA, THEY ARE OF GREAT CONSERVATION CONCERN.
