Estuaries are formed when rivers meet the sea.Unique plants and animals are found in estuaries as the water is brackish-a mixture of salt water from the sea and fresh water from the river.
water of river nd sea never never mixes, there is a barrier btw the fresh water and salt water , this phenomenon is called PYCNOCLINE zone - zone of partition.....

estuary- it is a water body formed, where freshwater from rivers and streams flows into the OCEANS, mixing with sea water.
