A factor is an integer that is when multiplied with an integer gives the specified number.

for example:
[]16
2 is a factor of 16 because 2*8=16.

Remember, a number's factors will always include 1 and that number.

A mulitple is a number that when divided by a whole number gives the specified number.

for example:
[]9
18 is a multiple of nine because 18/2=9.
