To arrange n objects in a line is called factorial. It is used in combinations and permutations.
n!=n×(n-1)×(n-2)×.........×3×2×1.
Ex:-2!=2×1=2
n!=n×(n-1)×(n-2)×.........×3×2×1.
Ex:-2!=2×1=2

Factorial (!) sign used in Permutation & Combination which are the chapters of Mathematics.
The formula of the factorial is ----------
n! = n×(n-1)×(n-2)×(n-3)×......×3×2×1
Example:
2! = 2×1 = 2
3! = 3×2×1 = 6
4! = 4×3×2×1 = 24
5! = 5×4×3×2×1 = 120
etc .
Hope it will help you .
