in general, force is either a push or a pull. Force enables us to change the direction or the speed of something, stop something etc. For more explanation, u can see the 3 laws of Issac Newton
Gravity is a force which pulls u and everything else (including the moon! but since it is far, it doesn't affect it that much) towards to ground.
And, remember every thing on earth including you and me, has gravity, but it doesn't work because our MASS is TOO SMALL.
