The Falling of objective from a height towards the earth under the gravitational force of earth which no other forces acting on it is called free fall.
In the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy Galileo Galilei experimented with falling object.
when two stones of different masses are dropped from the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa they hit the ground at the same time showing that the acceleration of a freely falling object does not depend on the mass of the object.
Robert Boyle the scientist show that in the absence of air resistance even if either and the same rate. that means the acceleration produced in the freely falling bodies is the same for all the objects and it does not depend on the mass of the falling object.
