Fundamental rights are a collection of rights that have been approved by the Supreme Court as necessitating an extraordinary degree of security from government intrusion. The constitution clearly recognizes the fundamental rights. Laws infringing on a fundamental right usually must pass stringent inspection to be sustained as constitutional. The Fundamental Rights are viewed as essential human rights of all citizens, irrespective of their caste, class, gender, religion etc.
