Some points on glomerulonephritis are as follows:-

1. The inflammation of the tiny filters which are located inside the kidney is called glomeruli.

2. Excess of fluids ,electrolytes and waste from the blood is removed by glomeruli and then passes it through urine out of the body.

3. Due to an immunologic mechanism which triggers inflammation and proliferation of the glomerular tissue which can then leads to the damage of the basement membrane,mesangium or capillary endothelium.

4. Thus this disease is known as glomerulonephritis.
