Green revolution is the revolution which was introduced by swaminathan to increase the food grain production. Because of the use of green revolution by the farmers ,the farmers are able to get more output as compared to the ordinary production. Green revolution is the use of HVY seeds,manures,fertilisers,
Irrigation, pesticides ,fertilisers and etc......
MERITS OF GREEN REVOLUTION
☆It is used to increase the production by which it results in giving a huge amount of output.
☆in punjab and haryana green revolution has incresed the wheat production. In states like tamilnadu and kerala it have increased the rice production.
