Gurumukhi is a Bramhic script. It is a modified version of the bramhic script that was modified and then standarddised by the second Sikh Guru, Guru Angad.
It was one of the two scripts used to write the Panjabi language. It literally mean words from the Teacher's mouth, as Guru means Teacher and Mukh means mouth.
