Processors itself has 3 components:-

1. ALU ( Arithmetic Logical Unit)- This unit has 2 units that are Arithmetic and Logical unit, The arithmetic unit is for arithmetic operations like addition, multiplication etc; and the Logical unit is for logical operations like comparing, matching etc.

2.MU (Memory unit)-This unit can store instructions, data, This unit supplies information to other units of the computer when it is needed.

3. CU (Control unit)-This unit controls the operations of all parts of the computer. It does not carry any actual data processing operations.
