Image-

If light rays coming from a point on object meets at another point after reflection, or appear to come from other point, then this second point is called the image of first point.

Images are of two types-

a) Real Image-

If light rays coming from a point, meets at another point actually after reflection, then the image formed is called real image.

b) Virtual Image-

If light rays coming from a point, does not meets actually  at another point after reflection, or appear to come from another point, then the image formed is called virtual image.
