Institution is a way or method in which different​ thoughts are incorporated in a habit of a group of men that should comply with the socio-economic terms.

The characteristics of institution are :

1) To satisfy social needs institution is objective and purpose oriented.

2) The nature of institution doesn't change from time to time and hence it is permanent.

3) Each institution has specific value and morale.

4) To function as a single unit each institution are structurally and functionally unified.
