Isotopes: The atoms which posses same atomic number (the atoms same element) but different mass number are called Isotopes.
Ex: ₁H¹,₁H², ₁H³
These are the isotopes of Hydrogen.
The difference in mass number is due to different number of neutrons present in the nucleus.
Isobars: The atoms which posses different atomic number with same mass number are called Isobars.
Ex : ₁₈Ar⁴⁰,₂₀Ca⁴⁰

Hope it helps you

isotopes means the elements that has same atomic number but different mass number.

ex. hydrogen (H) , deuterium( H) tritium (H)
they all has same atomic number 1 and their mass number is 1,2,3respectively

isobar are those elements which has same mass number but different atomic number.

EX. Ar(atomic mass is 40and atomic number is 18)
Ca(atomic mass is 40 and atomic number is 20)

hope this helps you Plzzz mark it as brainaliest answer
