what do you mean by IUPAC name how can you find the IUPAC name for carbon family

IUPAC is the short name of international union of pure and applied chemistry . it is the union which created the nomenclature for compuonds of carbon family. the rules and principles are given by IUPAC for naming of carbon compounds.
