The latent heat of diffusion means the heat which can't be observed in a laboratory thermometer when the liquid state transforms into gaseous. The liquid starts to form vapour when it reaches the boiling point and seems to stop raising in temperature. But the source is continuously providing heat. The raising heat which can't be measured till the liquid completely turns in to gas is known a latent heat of diffusion.
