Explanation:

what is latent heat?

when heat energy is supplied to a certain substance it it increases the temperature of the substance to come. After reaching to appoint the temperature stop increasing so at that point of time the heat energy whis is being supplied does not help in increasing the temperature but just helps in the change of state from solid to liquid and vice versaor from liquid to gas and vice versa or solid to gas and vice versa.

the energy supplied at a particular point where change of state takes place and which does not help in increasing the temperature is called latent heat.

it remains the same for all change of states.

pls mark as brainlist if it helps:)

(2) Heat of vapourization: It is the amount of energy that must be added to a liquid substance to transform a quantity of that substance to gas. It is also known as heat of evaporation.
