Newton's First Law of Motion explains how inertia affects moving and non-moving objects. Newton's first law states that an object will remain at rest or move at a constant speed in a straight line unless it is acted on by an unbalanced force. ... Objects with more mass have more inertia.

law of inertia states tht body at rest will remain at rest nd body in motion will remain in motion until external frce is applied to it to chnge its state of motin
