What do you mean by liquidators remuneration :

Liquidator's remuneration refers to the remuneration which is in the form of a fixed amount. It is the fixed amount as a percentage of the assets received by the liquidator or the amount received from unsecured creditors.

Whenever a company is wound up, the company specifically appoints one or more persons for the liquidation proceedings. Such persons are called liquidators. The functions of these liquidators are to recover assets, discharge liabilities, and distribute the surplus among the shareholders. The same liquidators perform the essential functions of liquidation of the company. The remuneration received by these liquidators during liquidation proceedings is called the liquidator's remuneration.
