what do you mean by live stock?

Heyaa folk,

Live stock is raising domestic animals for money by using their by-products like milk, wool, cowdung, meat in getting money by selling them.

Ex:- Cows and buffaloes are livestock as they give milk and cow dung can be used in making bio gas and when they become old and useless they are sold as an eating non veg product like that of meat.

live stocks are the group of animal found in a farm collectively.

  • they help in food supply ,source of income,soil fertility,livelihoods,agriculture,etc
  • some example of live stocks are- dairy cattle, horse,broiler,honey bee,pigs,turkeys,mules,etc
  • live stocks produce -egg ,milk ,meat ,fur ,leather,wool ,dungs,etc
  • live stock is also known as bovid mammals.
