  • They are the chief cells of immune system
  • B lymphocytes or B cells and T lymphocytes or T cells are major types of lymphocytes that are derived from haematopetic stem cells in the bone marrow .
  • B cells are involved in humoral immunity whereas T cells are involved in cell mediated immunity.

Monocytes :-

  • They are agranular leukocytes.
  • They can fight certain infections and help other wbc 's to destroy damaged or dead cells.
  • They can indicate the possibility of certain types of cancers.
