Management of combustion:

  • Combustion means the process by which substance react with oxygen. The substance is called fuel and the source of oxygen is oxidizer.
  • It is exothermic reaction which means it gives heat on burning.
  • Combustion management means applying exact amount of molecule of fuel and oxygen so that each molecule of fuel will get the oxygen molecule to get burn and also states not to use excess oxygen in furnace.
  • There are two types of combustion: complete and incomplete.
  • When the fuel or compound react with oxygen completely then it as called as complete combustion and when there is insufficient oxygen to burn compound then it is called as incomplete combustion.
