♦ Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quantity and arrangement. Math is all around us, in everything we do.

♦ Mathematics is a good subject to learn. It is very interesting and in our daily life we need to use mathematics. In mathematics there are different fields such as algebra, geometry, measurements, mass etc. It is an old, broad and deep discipline field of study. It is the study of numbers , quantity,  and shapes. It deals with logical reasoning and quantitative calculation, and its development has involved an increasing degree of idealization and abstraction of its subject matter.

♦  But really Mathematics has no generally accepted definition. Aristotle defined mathematics as "the science of quantity" and this definition prevailed until the 18th century. However, Aristotle also noted a focus on quantity alone may not distinguish mathematics from sciences like physics; in his view, abstraction and studying quantity as a property "separable in thought" from real instances set mathematics apart.
