Maxwell right-hand thumb rule:

• Rendering to Maxwell's right-hand thumb rule if we incline to hold a straight current holding wire in our right hand such that our thumb signifies the direction of the current then the twists of our fingers would signify the direction of the magnetic field lines.
• This rule is also termed as Maxwell's corkscrew rule
