☣The term polychromatic means having several colours. It is used to describe light that exhibits more than one color, which also means that it contains radiation of more than one wavelength

--> A Polychromatic light is composed of multiple colors. this light contains a broad range of wavelengths. for example white light is Polychromatic because it is combination of seven different colors. all the colors have a different wavelengths.
