After classification, organism subjected to a form of two word meaning system called Binomial Nomenclature. it consists of two components that is generic name and specific empithet.
for example in Mangifera indica, 'Mangifera' is the generic name and 'indica' is the specific name of mango.
this system is proposed by C.Linnaeus in 1753 in his book Philosophia botanica.

Linnaeus simplified things by giving each species a name consisting of 2 words first the name of genus to which the species belongs and second a designation for that particular specie
