The  non-farm production be defined as comprising all those activities associated with waged work or self-employment in income generating activities (including income in-kind) that are not agricultural but which generate income (including remittances etc.)
some of the non farming activities are-
1. pottery
2. dairy
3. shop keeping
4. transportation
5. jaggery
etc.

Non-farm production activities includes activities excluding agriculture or other than agriculture. Non-farm production activities examples are-- Pottery, Diary, Shop Keeping etc.
