Parallel lines :- Lines lies in a same plane which never meet and have same distance between them always . Or, we can say that, Lines which do not have any common intersection point are called as parallel lines . They are denoted by " II " . when a line AB is parallel to CD , we can write it as AB || CD .

Examples of parallel lines in daily life are :-

  • Railway tracks .
  • Opposite side lengths of doors, table , wall , floor etc .
  • Length of roads on both opposite sides .
