Photosynthesis :

Photosynthesis refers to a chemical process & it generally takes place in green plants.

It is the process through which plants prepare their own food in the presence of sunlight , water & minerals from the soil and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere to form a food called glucose.

This process takes place in leaves of plants and being a food making body of a plant , leaves are also considered as kitchen of plant.
