PIL IS A LEGAL ACTION WHICH SEEKS TO ADVANCE THE MINORITY GROUPS IN A COUNTRY.IF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IS HURT BY THE ACTIONS OR LAWS OF THE GOVERNMENT ANYONE CAN APPROACH THE COURT. THE COURT IN ORDER PASSES THE ORDER TO CHECK UPON IT. IT RAISES ISSUES OF BROAD PUBLIC CONCERN.
