In political freedom we have rights to express our opinions in public, to contest elections, to be part of our system. It helps in the functioning of democracy because decentralization is the main objective of democracy that all the powers, majority and other things like reservation should not reside only in the hands of one person but it should be with all. It divides for smooth functioning of democracy
and because of that parties are not able to do what they want. They have a fear of lossing elections as well as majority.
