Primary education covers everything from Reception (minimum of age 4) to Year 6 (maximum of age 11).
Secondary education covers everything from Year 7 (minimum age of 11) to Year 11 (maximum age of 16). Usually though, there is also a sixth form college with a secondary school which extends the maximum age to 18.
