Hey mate, Here is your answer.

there are many definitions of atomic radius. I have listed all.
(for understanding)
The radius of an atom is the distance between the nucleus and the outermost shell/electron.

For board/ JEE
the radius of an atom is the distance between the nucleus and the place where the probability of finding an electron is maximum.

Anny121: Radius isn't the place that have the maximum probability of finding an electron , such place is called probability density
Anny121: The answer is fine though , it just needs a lil' editing :)
yuvrajkj: i said it is the distance between nucleus and the point where the probability of finding an electron is maximum
yuvrajkj: and that point is called an orbital

Q: What is meant by radius of an atom ?

Ans : The radius of atomic or the atomic radius is the measure of the size of an atom which determines the distance between the centre of the atom (nucleus) to the outermost shell of an atom or to the electron cloud of that atom .

If we go for the higher studies about the radius of an atom , we will come to know that Van der Waal had introduced a method by which we can determine the size of an atom .

The Vander Waal 's Atomic Radius states that the atomic radius is the distance between a covalent bond of two atoms is the half of their internuclear distance .

{ Have a look at the image attached with the answer , it will help you understand the Vander Waal's atomic radius }
