Raoult's Law states that "For a solution containing non volatile solute, at a given temperature, the relative lowering of vapour pressure is equal to mole fraction of the solute.
i. e. p'/p=x.
Limitations :
1.Raoult's law is applicable only to very dilute solutions. Raoult's law is applicable to solutions containing non-volatile solute only.
2.Raoult's law is not applicable to solutes which dissociate or associate in the particular solution.

Raoults law:

The relative lowering of vapour pressure of a dilute solution containing non volatile solute is equal to the mole fraction of solute in the solution.

Limitations:

1. It is applicable to dilute solution and non volatile solution.

2. It is applicable to ideal solution.
