Answer:

Refraction = The bending of light when it travel from one medium to another. In refraction angle of incidence is not equal to angle of refraction.

Reflection = The bouncing back of light when it strike from polished object. In reflection angle of incidence is equal to angle to reflection.

ANSWER

Refraction of light

Refraction is the bending of light (it also happens with sound, water and other waves) as it passes from one transparent substance into another. This bending by refraction makes it possible for us to have lenses, magnifying glasses, prisms and rainbows. Even our eyes depend upon this bending of light.

Reflection of light

Reflection is when light bounces off an object. If the surface is smooth and shiny, like glass, water or polished metal, the light will reflect at the same angle as it hit the surface. This is called specular reflection. Types of reflection. Light reflects from a smooth surface at the same angle as it hits the surface.

difference between refraction and reflection

Reflection can simply be defined as the reflection of light when it strikes the medium on a plane. Refraction can be defined as the process of the shift of light when it passes through a medium leading to the bending of light. The light entering the medium returns to the same direction.
