DEFINITION -
refraction is the bending of light ray when it travells from one medium to another
===========================
CAUSE :-
when light travels from one medium to another its speed changes . to compensate in the change of speed light rays bend .

REFRACTION OF LIGHT
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Refraction is a change in the direction of wave propagation due to changes in its transmission medium.
Refraction is the inclination of light (it also occurs with sound, water and other waves) because it comes out of a transparent material that can pass without light scattering. Objects are clearly visible when a transparent material such as a smooth window is seen through glass or water matter in another
This tendency by refraction makes it possible for us to make lenses, eyeglasses, magnets and rainbow magnifiers. Even our eyes depend on the inclination of light, without refraction, we will not be able to concentrate on light our retina...
