What do you mean by renewable and non-renewable source of energy? Give two example of each .Write at least four characteristics of good source of energy.

Renewable resources are those which can be replenished back to earth by physical,chemical or biological processes. For example,solar energy,hyrdo energy,etc.

Non-renewable resources are those which cannot be replenished back to earth and there is an urgency to conserve them since they are limited in nature. For example, fossil fuels,etc.

Four characteristics of good source of energy:

1)High calorific value

2)easily accessible

3)easy to store and transport

4) highly economical
