Matters which are not included in any of the three lists are known as residuary subjects and the right to make laws on these subjects is called residuary power. The central government (the Parliament) has been given rights to legislate on these subjects. Example of residuary subjects are software, hardware, etc.

Residuary List is the List which is Prepared after preparation of Principal List or main List.

It is the List which keeps the Item of remaining or forgotten items.
