I think...R= RHO l/a.....where l/a is the cell constant ...
resistivity increases when we increase resistance.

Resistivity is the property of a material which is constant at a given temperature. Resistivity is the tendency of the material to resist flow of charge through it.
Resistivity is denotes by a symbol (rho)

Resistivity = (Resistance)× (Area of cross section)/length

It's SI unit is ohm.metre
