resistivity => the resistance per unit cross section of the conductor is resistivity _...

the si unit of resistibity is ohm.metre

the factors on which resistivity depends are : -

1 area of cross section of the conductor ,..

2. length of conductor ..

3. resistance of conductor !!!

hope it helps !!!

1) Resistivity of a conductor is a measure of the resistance of a given size of a specific material to electrical conduction.

2) Its SI unit is ohm meter

3) The specific electrical resistance of a conductor depends on its material(length and area of cross section) and temperature. The mount of resistance in the flow of current, cross sectional area is called specific resistance of that conductor. simply on the conductivity , length of wire and cross sectional area.
