Respiration:- 1) It is just not inhalation and exhalation of the gases by the plants(via stomata).
2) Plants take releases oxygen and takes in carbon dioxide and utilises it to perform various life processes.
3) Plants usually performs exchange of gases during photosynthesis.
4) So because of plants only we get fresh and clean air
