Explanation:

In simple terms, retail means that you, the product manufacturer or producer, sell your product directly to the consumer. Selling wholesale means you typically sell your product in bulk quantities to a “middle man” who in turn sells it to the consumer (i.e. other retailers).

Retail:- It refers to buying and selling of goods and services in small quantities. The retailer buys goods from the wholesaler and sells these goods to the ultimate consumer.

Wholesaler:- Its refers to buying and selling of goods and services in large quantity. The wholesalers buys goods directly from the manufacturer and sell these goods to the retailers. Generally a wholesaler is specialised in one line of product. He maintains a large stock. He buys goods for cash from manufacturer and sells on credit to retailer. A large amount of capital is required in wholesale trade.
