The safe value of fuse means the maximum current that the fuse can withstand.
Like for example if the safe value of fuse is 5A, then that particular fuse will not allow a current higher than 5A to pass through circuit. If the current exceeds , the fuse wire will melt and the circuit will be disconnected .
